It's a bit incorrect to compare it to D3 as it didn't have renown or anything similar. As for adventurer mode in D3 - you're basically getting exactly that. It happened because in preseason I've run hundreds of dungeons and diving back into that immediately would make me burn out much much faster. When the season started it was actually refreshing to do some side questing which I would never do if it wasn't mandatory (it actually isn't but it helps to mix up the dungeon farm). To me personally renown is completely OK because of one reason - no endgame. I'm talking about you dads with 1 hr a day to play. Likely, many players are still in their 60-70s. Though I'm close to my limit one month into season which is also pretty much OK as I was playing a lot of the game. Fun is subjective, I am having fun tinkering with builds and pushing dungeons with friends. Proper endgame is something that I was hoping S1 would fix (at least with a decent boss) which unfortunately didn't happen. NM Dungeon affixes that are just plain stupid and annoying (No one wants to run them, we bin the key so why bother putting it as an option) You do it once, thats it, its now baked in (Just like D3 adventure mode). This should translate WT5 in NM Dungeons as well, there is no logical reason a sacred 700 should drop a in a NM dungeon where mobs are 100+.Įnough with the renown grind, i dont want to do the same boring side quests every god dam season for 10-15+. Smarter Gear drops, this could be solved with WT5 dropping min 800, and only ancestral. Proper end game, the 75-100 is a complete trash and clearly missing WT5. What would you have liked to be in at launch? Still waiting for the game to catch up to the point it should have been at when launched.
